Abstract:
Agile and iterative development with changing requirements lead to continuously changing models. In particular, the researchers are faced with the problem of consistently co-evolving different views of a model-based system. Whenever one model undergoes changes, corresponding models should co-evolve with respect to this change. On the other hand, domain engineers are faced with the huge challenge to find proper co-evolution rules which can be finally used to assist developers in the co-evolution process. In this paper, we introduce the CoWolf framework that enables co-evolution actions between related models and provides a tooling environment. Furthermore, we demonstrate the results of a case study on the developed tool. \textcopyright Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2015.
